I appear as a regular poet-chef at the Poetry Takeaway, where we sometimes get requests for pet poems. I wondered if there was a (very specific!) gap in the market for those who wanted made-to-order pieces for four legged friends (and their owners).  Teaming up with fellow poet and dog-lover Michelle Madsen, we tried our hand at writing sonnets for spaniels; haiku for hounds and poems for pooches at Brockwell Park dog show.
